Beitedien

Beiteddinne palace is one of the most spectacular and the best example of 19th century Lebanese architecture, which took over 30 years to build. Beiteddinne is located close to the village of Deir EL Qamar which means (Monastery of the moon). 

Ceder of Lebanon

The majestic Lebanese cedar is very rare; there are only 3 species of cedar in the world.  The oldest cedars in the world are located in Lebanon and are more than 2000 years old. Cedars grow at elevations of 1300m to 2100m above sea level; they grow best in deep soil on slopes. They require significant amounts of light and more than 1000mm or rain per year.

Jbeil Old Markets

Byblos also known as Jbeil, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Near the archeological site of the historic city lies a small square built by Emir Youssef Chehab in the 18th century, the east of the square are the old souks of Jbeil which was restored by the Antiquities Department in the 1970s.
